From the European Renaissance, Italian Baroque, Dutch Golden Age, Grand Tour era, Romanticism, to Impressionism. Spanning over 400 years of Western art history, how did artists explore "form" and "color" in their paintings, and how were the subjects in the paintings presented? Let's follow the footsteps of the great masters of art and wander through these 400 years of art. The study content includes but is not limited to: 1. Explore the changes in painting expressions from the Renaissance to Impressionism over 400 years, appreciate, discern, and learn different styles of paintings from the perspectives of "form" and "color". 2. Combining games and historical anecdotes, understand the rise and fall of each art period in a simple and easy-to-understand way, and discuss how the pioneering artists of each period broke through tradition and innovated in terms of ideology and painting techniques. 3. Through critical discussions, attempt to understand the historical significance of this important 400-year art revival. 4. Create a three-dimensional composition of mixed materials. CANCELATION POLICY
1. Enrollment on a "first come, first served" basis. To secure your place you have to pay the full program fee. 2. Cancellation: 70% of the program fee will be refunded for cancellations made 1 week before scheduled program starts. If any participant is absent or drops out for personal reasons, we do not offer any make up classes, and program fee will not be refunded on pro-rata basis. For a participant who unable to attend for medical reasons will need to provide a valid medical certificate, we will offer a voucher to attend an upcoming program of the same value, subject to availability, within six months of the cancellation date. 3. Postponement: Changes to your registration can be requested up to 48 hours in advance of the program date - dependent on the availability of openings in the alternative programs. No changes are possible within 48 hours, and an administrative fee of HKD100 will be charged for any changes permitted. 4. If the number of applicants is insufficient, the course will be canceled and the applicant will be refunded. 5. In case of cancellation due to inclement weather, participants will be provided with a voucher equivalent to the paid amount on pro-rata basis, valid for 6 months.
